The latest adventure of Jack Kennedy, the farm boy from Iowa, begins on May 1 with the launch of book three of the Revolution series, 2123: Dawn’s Early Light.

Since it’s not out yet, I don’t want to give any spoilers, but I can say this is the most shocking adventure yet. Even though the Orenite cannibals have been defeated again, the battle to save America is now taking a turn for the worse. Book two ended with Jack surviving his imprisonment in the cannibal prison and the maniac Henry Marshall thanks to his cellmates, friends, and family. While the farmers attempt to return to normalcy in Delano, some members of the Marshall family will never forget or forgive Jack. This time, the revenge will be more horrific.

Soon the cannibals will take over the country. The Orenite savior, Oren Marshall will take the oath of office as president of the United States. The founding documents will be burned in front of the Capitol while thousands of poverty-stricken residents cheer.

All seems lost when a group of Old Ones is discovered in the ruins of Seattle, Washington. These Old Ones are protected by an army of flying robot warriors. Are they our salvation? The illusion of hope for the United States is short-lived, however. Even more sinister truths are about to be discovered, and those facts will doom our country. The dream that was America will end, perhaps forever.
