Carl Prescott’s next adventure is going to be outrageous. A few weeks after defeating the Beast and saving the world from enslavement, our hero is back to school at the Bertrand Aloysius Thorndike Educational Institution. Carl and his friends were looking forward to getting back to their studies and their talents, but the job of the Invisible Hand never ends. While on his way to the hidden storage room on the third floor of the Gratia Dei Hall, he is intercepted by Professor Alistair Donnelly. Apparently, a medieval castle has been discovered buried beneath the main building of the school.
This discovery raises a number of questions. For one, the Azores were discovered in the fifteenth century, long after the Middle Ages. Secondly, why did no one know the structure was there? Professor Bertrand Thorndike reminds Carl about a demonic cult centered in Eastern Europe that was ultimately obliterated by the Roman Empire. The leader of that kingdom was Sylvia, a demon daughter of Lucifer, who has decided that this is again her time to rule the world.
There is much more to this demon than beauty and blood lust. She seems more interested in Carl Prescott than an adversary examining her opponent. A special connection exists between the two which our hero must uncover if he is to save the world a second time. To learn the truth, Carl must stand on the Crossroads of Existence with Death, make a deal with Satan, and travel to the precedent universe with God. Ultimately, he must cross the Rope Bridge and step into the gravity wave to save Earth, himself, and Sylvia.
Carl Prescott and the Demon Queen was released on May 28, 2019 in both e-book and paperback formats. The paperback is 308 pages long, and includes a sneak peak into book 3 of the series. Hang on. This is going to be a wild, action-packed adventure where all of our lives are at stake.
